Airport Screening For Explosives - Poem by Herbert Nehrlich 2

There is nothing more simple than dealing
and more just, more adept and appealing
than to solve in a beat
and completely defeat
with no thought to a terrorist's feeling.

Do not use the Xray machine,
as some bombs cannot ever be seen,
use a gadget that knows
and immediately blows
all explosives completely offscene.

No more bomb and no bearer who could,
and who probably, most likely would,
let them drink from their cup
(and no judges tied up) ,
and no gallows, no priests, no black hood.
