Alcohol - Poem by Aishling Unknown
You were the solution to every problem
When I was down, you brought me up
When I was angry, You calmed me down
When I felt alone, you were perfect company
When I was thirsty, you quenched my thirst
But you shouldn’t have been a solution
You should used for social events
But you became the only one I trusted.
But I beat you.
I have been sober for 5 weeks.
And I plan on continuing.
Alcohol is not a solution. It’s a problem.
