All Four Feet - Poem by christine bertoncini

They come out at night
With all four feet

Never to be touched
Because they have all four feet

Wild and free with all their beauty
That can be
With all four feet

They come to me
Swift with speed
On all four feet

I am neathier friend nor foe
Because as they know
I am a Guardian
A loved one
With all four feet

They follow me
With all four feet

Now as you may say
The lead would take me
To run with them
With all four feet

Because what would be courage
Is just lots of feet
