All I Have Poem by empty shell

All I Have

You have given me gifts of music,
Flowers, poems and rocks.
You have punctuated my life with
Delicious pieces of heaven.

Without hesitation, remorse or reserve
You love me so completely
You have given me everything
Your heart, your body, you soul.

I love the way you love me!

I hope I too have given you gifts.
Piano, adventure and dance.
I hope your life I have enriched
With memories you will never forget.

I, too, love you completely
Already you own my heart and soul.
But I am unable to give you everything
Not everything you deserve.

I hate the way I love you!

My body, my time, my commitments
I give you in fear, with reservation.
Looking over my shoulder
Contaminating my attention to you.

I feel burdened by this all
Damn it, you deserve more!
But I can’t, I can’t, I cannot
Give you what you deserve.

This is my way to love you.

Are you okay with this way I love you?
Can you accept it? Do you need more?
Do you anger when I am not there,
Do you hate me when I am silent?

My love, I am sorry. So sorry.
Crumbs are all I have.
Can this fill you
Even in your hungriest hour of need?
