Allow Inner Voice - Poem by Seema Chowdhury

Allow your inner voice to guide you
During your quiet moment
And hope to see better times on the horizon

Remember that nothing lasts forever
In this wicked world
So slow down when you are inflicted with
Constant and deep pain

Search for a perfect moment
And sit in the shade of a fine day
Because there is more to life

Always remember that if you stay calm
In the face of frustration
You will find joy of external peace
And learn to walk out of that deep dark hole
Into the sunshine

To strengthen your hope
And get a sense of control
To play the waiting game
When the time is right........
