Alone - Poem by levignia jaise
I know there is no God
We are alone.
Those too scared to admit it, please feel free to compensate the fear with stories.
Stories help. Belief heals. Hope builds.
But for some.
Some are alone.
And I respect them.
Those that understand.
That are subject to fear.
What is life with no hope.
And so many merely exist.
I am not preaching.
I am one of them.
I am no one.
I am me. I do not belong. Nor do I want to.
I do not object to those that do believe.
Despite everything, still they believe.
But we are alone.
