Alone Poem by Tina Gill

Alone

Rating: 5.0

12 and grown, on the streets alone raising a baby
on my own all because I left my home. My mom
couldn't think twice she chose needles over my life,
all because of her her stupid man I never got the
fighting chance. I didn't want grandma to worry, I
wouldn't want mommy to cry. But I'm hurt and now
theres tears in my eyes. Tell grandpa I miss him and
I'm full of shame. Although I'm sorry I'm not the one
to blame. You see I didn't home because of the baby,
I didn't want mom to be mad, its sad to know that her
man is my babies dad.
