Alpha My Omega - Poem by Richard Allen Beevor

Another corner turned,
our fingers darkly burned.

Believing all will be right,
a dragon entered the fight.

They come to steal our home,
as we stand all alone.

Corporate monster wreaks his worst,
the weak as we are always cursed.

Shallow hope arrears and tears,
facing up to our worst fears.

Will a mighty knight arrive
and bring us home to survive.

If in such dreams you do trust,
expect to inherit only dust.
