Always Will - Poem by Ranock Saing

We will be friends forever
Our memories are full of the times that we spent together
We’re moving on and won’t come back
Even though our lives will be on different tracks
The least you expect it, it came too soon
I’ll never forget that night in June
Eyes full of tears
Feelings full of pain and fears
Some will leave this town
Others will stay around
It’s a time to live life and fly
Although this won’t be our last goodbye
Even though I am not with you today
You’ll always be with me in another way
At home when we were alone
We used to talk on the phone
Our best hang out was the hall
You would stand in the rain as it falls
It was you that helped when I couldn’t understand
I knew I could run and cry because you lend me your hand
There are hills and mountains to climb
All we need is take a few steps at a time
10 years from now, we make the big money
When we look back, will everything be the same or is the feeling funny?
Will we make it somehow?
Will everything be different or the same like now?
As we leave, the pain burns but soon would conceal
The days go on and my heart will heal
This year, everything raps up that one night
Then darkness will turn bright
Everyday, whether sadness, at the end it ends with a smile
Our life together was worthwhile
This was what we waited for years
Now it freaks me out as time nears
Everyone is getting older and mature
The love we shared was something pure
May we keep the love that we share?
Always will you breathe the same air
Let the memories last
For the past be the past
The place you’ll be is my heart
Even though we’ll be far part
The happiness of one shared by two
Let me share my special feelings with you…
