America - Poem by heaven tek

By: Heaven Tekleab
The land you call America
Is not as what you say,
The looks and stares
When I ride
Next to a bear.

I leave my native England
For a dirty filthy place
I am the queens daughter
a princess of the play.

The trees and undiscovered land
Pushes me to my limits
I want to see what this land is hiding

I see wrongs of people
And people who see the wrong
It is very disappointing to see
Lives being lost

The two wear red or blue
They fight to the death
The land is covered in blood

All they want is freedom
But all they have to do is sign
They disagree with the king,
And his binding lies.

The war is almost over
And people are cheering,
For the British are disappearing.

The land is ours now
Free from monarchy
The land is now full of beauty.
