I enjoyed this read, Dave. It took me back to my time there. Yes, Amsterdam is not just about sex and dope (and bicycles and diamonds) and it DOES have its own style. Its rich in culture and diversity. So much to see and do. Even just sitting having a coffee while watching the world go by is a pleasant eye-opener. Carry on enjoying....

    Love, Fran xx

I odn't think the trolleys are overpriced. I've been there, in fact twice. I love the city at night. So many clubs, bars, and so much life, not only in the people but in the city itself. Also taken a stroll into the coffee-shops, mushroom bars and right on through the red light district. Not exactly safe for a girl, but it was a great adventure. The way you described the scene, it put right back on those narrow, cobbled streets. Thanks. (Report)Reply
