An Evening Snuggle - Poem by Michael P. McParland
How nice it would be to have you here
to share an evening snuggle with me.
To hold you near as I stroke your hair
and say sweet lady you are so wonderful
and I want to be with you everyday
for all time lying under the moon and sun.
You are my dream and I want you here with me.
My stomach still continues to ache
into and throughout this day
and I wish I could just snuggle with you
as it works its way on through.
I'm not sick it just persistently aches
and being with you would make it tolerable
in its annoying wake.
I wish I could share and evening here with you
snuggling and feeling your arms around me
comforting those things that bother me.
I wish I could share an evening snuggle
with you my precious dear as I rested my head
right next to yours giving kisses oh so dear.
I love you dearly with all my heart
and I long to be with you so very close.
To just have you here within my arms.
So very soon my dear I know it will be here
the day we can snuggle as we please.
I'll never ever let you go
and I will always give completely of myself.
I love you Kira and wish I could snuggle with my Angel.
