An Indian Man.. - Poem by Chaitanya Dorwat

He walks by a giggle of girls,
skinny, fair, what he'd call pretty,
talking over a cigarette or two,
in their low cut dresses, tiny skirts,
conscious about his hair
he just fixed a minute back.
This magical moony night,
he puts on his shades
he hung in his trou pocket,
flashes a grin
as he stares thoes darlings
now giggling aloud,
till they run out of his sight,
then he fixes his hair back,
keeps away the shades,
his tempted heart clashing against a cage,
of promises to his wife,
of overburdening responsibilities.
