Very funny, love how it built and the climax was an empty candy pail. (Report)Reply

Oh no, they didn't soap your windows or egg your car I hope! Do kids still do that now a days? Great build up to a surprise ending...Happy Halloween Chuck! (Report)Reply

    Chuck,

10 from me because you really are a poet at heart...wonderfully clever! What slow thinker dared to give you '5'?

    Love your work.

The trick is to buy candy that you DON'T like! Otherwise it's just too inviting. Great use of imagery - and perfect build-up to ending surprise. Made me think of the 'Halloween' movies - they were the worst!

I thought it was a little dark in the begining which is great and was wondering where it would lead. And, then the ending, so funny! Great read and that isn't because Halloween is my favorite holiday. (Report)Reply
