An Ode To The Heartfelt Poem by Christopher's Dead

An Ode To The Heartfelt

Rating: 5.0

An ode to the heartfelt, the cheapest of tears
That plague down on a sunshine like militant cheers
Of the sorrowful ones holding sorrow so near,
Makes your other half sorrowful, broken, and sheared.

From the laugh to the cry, not a second removed,
From heartfelt to heartfelt, so focused intrude
On the mind, just a box duct taped, stapled, and glued
To the bloodied brain stained by the days I hurt you.

Continuum just to lay boredom to waste,
When I couldn't just sit there and ponder this haste,
Or lack there of, was never so hopefully faced,
Not of lust, but lips so dry succumb to taste.

Sweet relief for the mind, escapism unjust,
Inter-twined between punching a hole through a trust
Built up over time, for the time given I must
Be of heartfelt before my remains crumble to dust.

Incredible! I think this is the best poem I have heard, written by someone who isnt famous. I'd have to say that my favorite line is 'Built up over time, for the time given I must Be of heartfelt before my remains crumble to dust.' I mean, its pure brilliance to me.=D
