An Only Thought Blinds Me.. - Poem by Chaitanya Dorwat
Quiet by my side I lay today,
With these thoughts blinding my sky,
unspoken words spelling disasters,
and for thoes spoken, I just can have a sigh.
My dreams don't let me sleep,
they wake me up; splashing tears,
I gaze my skies, my words choke,
I am left out alone, by silence mere.
Why am I blind to see my skies?
Or is it still night?
then where are thoes pinned up memories?
thoes stars? with them also did I fight?
What is that light, shining bright?
Is it the only thought I have?
but how dare the sun rise in the night,
for now I should sleep not stare;
Every star was given a day,
but the sun took long to vanish,
It blinded me, but now I'm awake,
in the morning and the starry lights! !
Thus it is always,
an only thought blinds me,
and I forget how beautiful is the world around,
how beautiful the world makes me!
