Allie, from one who can't dance to save his life this is a delightful poem. I sympathise with poor Angela. I went to dancing lessons for six years and always had the remark 'if you follow Dave you'll never get it.' They were right. I gave up in the end. Top marks and thanks for sharing this my friend.

This shows the reader how it is possible to overcome appearance and pose and free the inner spirit, leaving the person feeling transformed..

The mark of a good teacher - enabling the pupil to shine from their soul... a wonderful piece of observation Allie, eloqently told. Justine x (Report)Reply

A lovely poem. A trim elegant and objective account of a human mannequin who springs to life and grace mixed with reflective humor. (Report)Reply

Yoga. makes me like a pretzel that I remain stuck in until someone comes and literally pulls me apart and than I limp for days.....so the mannequin would be me...unlike the lady, my features are tiny, wrists like a kid, but, just can't do it...Oh and yes the poem is great but of course..........marci. :) ~~~ (Report)Reply

Apparently, Angela has learned to dance to the music of her soul. What a wonderful poem story. As only you could write it.
