Analogue Television

Rating: 4.0

Stay awake Melvin, after this
there’s a movie with a twist. Next, a
gay test pattern and medley of hits, and
lastly, a small screen sizzler with a surprise
ending: a ‘big bang/random radio’ flick
about the remarkable warmth of outer
space. It's the crackle and fizz of 3°Kelvin
Melvin, and I’d rather not watch it alone.

In those days, analogue television was our only recreation!

How many times have I watched those dancing bees. Now we have random state pixels!

Great little poem, analogue television was so much better than digital television.

That 1st analogue television was like a gift from God. Certainly remember those Gay test patterns. Great to be taken back

Very funny, Diane. Is your husband's name Melvin, or did you just make that up to rhyme with Kelvin? In any case, great poem.
