Analogy Between A Goat And A Girl On Eid-Ul-Azha

Rating: 5.0
You are being sacrificed,
I am being sacrificed,
You for flesh-
I for life,
You a goat,
I a girl,
We are both being sacrificed -
Goat and girl,
For the custom and tradition of this country.
Sadia Arman

Arman I feel with you But, what can we do! I thought you are Armenian from Arman, But you are Dhakan So we are one …! Your stanzas Very simple and honest Similarities and differences Can’t be ignored This is a place Where girls sold like goats No one can understand Unless you live and feel with thems No escape Religion…Culture veiled every grace Not only your face But your heartfulness Not to express. No freedom exist When is the day That will arrive… amend May be… after a four-hundred year! Arrive to life again and see Might be never That shades disaster! ! ! ! Sylva Portoian, MD August 2,2010
