You took my breath away

You took up all my oxygen
And strangled out my hope
You left me without air to breathe
And hung me with a rope

You blew my mind

You invaded all my thoughts
And played with how I felt
You tore up all my sanity
And burned the cards I had been dealt

You held my heart

You trapped my love and feeling in your grasp
And crushed them all to dust
You broke my emotions into nothing
And left me unable to trust
