And Who Do You Think I Am? - Poem by Slava Olchevski
And who do you think I am -
An animal, called a man?
That conquered the planet Earth
And used all its nature to serve
The humans, the lowly race
We turned to the God for grace
We ask for forgiveness, for sign
That origin shows divine
All mighty, My Lord, My Father
You are everywhere at once
In a child, in a beautiful flower,
In a dream, in a song, in a dance.
Your heavenly plan is beyond me,
I am leaf in the middle of stream,
Being carried away to the ocean
Through world that’s reflected within...
