Angel And Daughter Poem by Yonah Jeong

Angel And Daughter

i saw her
for the first time. an angel
neat hair,
beautiful waist,
soft shoulders,
an indescribable face,
strong legs,
small feet,
and
i captured the sight of
walking without touching
the ground with my eyes
i told a true friend
i confessed that
i have found a bridge that
will cross the end of this world

Another i advised
that's her parade. not the form of existence
you cannot see her
how long did she wait for you
at home, not on the street
i ran crazy. drove a car
those vivid images were washed away
when stopped in front of
the house. her and her families, luggage
with train disappeared into the mountains
i turned around
asked the old man
who bumped into me
'she was an angel.'
'no. she was the girl
who only loved you.'

i started up again.
