Another End - Poem by Carrilyn Fitch

Another end
An end of a romance
An end of a story
An end of a life
An end of an obsession

I pick up all the feathers
All of the fake wings
Some white and some black
Each one a different color

My wings of colors and shades
Each feather placed back to where
It was once before
Then they get hung up

To sit next to all my old Obsessions
All of those that were before
Now I stand waiting for the next on
