Appaji's Prodigy

The king of Kalinga had his message sent
for cabbages and carrots to be lent
as such the harvest is rare in his country
When the message was read out in the Royal Court
Appaji consented Krishnaraya puzzled
for the distant land demanded journey great

Appaji a real prodigy
nothing is beyond his strategy
He commissioned sand bed carriages
with seeds sown that sprouted to life
As the carriages sailed.

no surprise! the carriages reached Kalinga
When the harvest is just ripe
Wow! Appaji - a real prodigy.
