Application For A Driving License - Poem by Michael Ondaatje

Two birds loved
in a flurry of red feathers
like a burst cottonball,
continuing while I drove over them.
I am a good driver, nothing shocks me.

Application For A Driving License is a poem which showcases it that the rose too has thorns.Smell the rose cautiously. Love-making on highways passing through the woods may be dangerous which but the free birds understand it not. (Report) Reply

the pigeons make love in their abode
    acute love within fair heart
I am hearing the sound of embracing
and a python on a slow coach
as if thunder- I am on the bed of hospital
