April Rain 2006 - Poem by David Howerton

Rain, warm large drops
might get 2 inchs today.
Sitting here in car
windows fogged
wind picks up.
It's quiet here
metal cacoon
motor on battery charging
do this once twice a week
when not driving.
Get out of house
sit here almost quiet
turkeys strut up driveway
looking for mates,
and clear spot
to cross road
always good to watch.
