As A Taurus; In Love With You - Poem by tushawn white

Can you taste the rain?
Running down my eyes
Like times of sorrow
Bleeding for forgiveness
But actually drowning in joy
For every moment is sunny in the light
Cool as the moon’s mist
Because it is Breath taking
To think of a God inside of me
Preaching the good word to the soul
Like a marching band for civil rights
One can fight for that cause
Eve in the worst storm
Lighting has already struck me twice
With every last beat breaking through the chest
Let the good times ring
Music more passionate than music
Never to skip a beat
After the track slows down
Just to remind the mind
That there more to life than life
Or more to pain than pain
As the lungs breath in air
The exhale is like rocks
Crushing the feelings in my hand
For every moment one can’t
Stand to the face of danger
Fight in the name of love
Or jump at the ledge of greatness
Because in the rain
This one is free; Again

Stunning work, truly thought provoking ...the heart... the tears, rain all the makings of an inner soul... just my thoughts as I read.
    Simply stunning
