'As I Am....' - Poem by christine ogutu

Into millions, God created

earthed the fleeing souls

and defined the identity

the meek, humble and poor

one but all races

just the universality

so take me:

not as they are

but as I am

Out of the infinite love

comes the love of all

like God all are alike

just as rose flowers

that sprouts under the sun

all are not beasts but beautiful

so take me:

not as they are

but as I am
