Autumn - Poem by Allen Brodell

A cloudless sky in moody blue
mountains naked in dark blue

As far as the eye can see
green, yellow fields
in the far distance

Displaying the last days
of another autumn
yet again

Houses in pale blue
under trees high

Grey smoke from
lonely chimneys
beds of flowers
in autumn colours
blooming for the autumn
yes, just one more time

Praise God Almighty
in Jesus Name
