Baby Face Nelson's Widow Poem by Quênia Lalita

Baby Face Nelson's Widow

she keeps her emotions in a safe
she climbs balconies for no one

she has been called by so many names
but she's 20 feet tall

she isn't happy with loose ends
so she deprives them from air

she's constantly trying to pretend
like his ghost is not there

she'll mislead the monsters at times
she's batshit crazy, no one can pacify her

but she knows that right down the line
her claustrophobic centipede of a feeling will abide

she is the reencarnation of
Baby Face Nelson's eternal widow

and she denies it, she fights it
but her ethereal loss might never die
