Baby, Tonight - Poem by Arturo Garcia

What is love?
I love her,
All day I think about her and how much I need her.

What is hate?
I hate you.
All day I think about how much I need you
gone.

Love is when I dwell every thought of
her.
How much I want to kiss, hold, and see
her.

Hate is when I dwell every thought of
you.
How much I want to hurt you, end you, destroy
you.

What is hate?
But a love?

Love and Hate walk hand in hand,
but baby, tonight,
We’re dancing.
