Back Down - Poem by krissy keindl

When everything is going wrong
Just try to hold on
Don’t runaway just…
Face your biggest fears
Don’t break down in tears

Back down
The worlds gone wrong
Back down
Get back to life
Back down
Live life the ways its meant to be

When you’re face down on the floor
With your father standing over you
Just think how it’s worse somewhere else

Unlocking the back door
And running away
To your love’s house
Social services come after you
Just think…
Its always worse somewhere else

Bruises on your body
Teachers askin’ questions
Makin up excuses
Mommy in drunk
Daddy is high
Your life is in hell
But is it really always worse somewhere else?

But is it really always worse somewhere else?
I very much doubt it, this sounds like a personal hell
