Back Muse, Red Muse - Poem by Brynn Fier

Black muse
Red muse
Blood ooze

The dark takes over
The last ray of light
Hides behind gray clouds
It is always night

The light is never on
The sun is never out
I'm always alone
Always left out

The walls are closing in
Filling with red
There's not much time left
Soon I'll be dead

The flood of blood
All my pain
My problems and tears
Go down the drain

It's so simple
To pick up a knife or gun
Slice or pull the trigger
The job is done

The pain is gone
It all ends tonight
It's bliss
When darkness turns to light

So come join me
Leave you're life
You're free
As soon as you pick up the knife
