Backslidden Comments

Rating: 5.0
As you walk with God in your life, you display the character of Christ.
As you walk away from The Lord, your fruit displayed is not ignored,
When a one becomes backslidden, the spirit inside is not that hidden.
A believer begins wrestling deep inside, when his Lord he has denied.

A rather wonderful piece of work, but I have to disagree with you, Poetry Hound, I think it should read 'oneself'.

Hi Bob. I think the poem would work better if you changed 'You' to 'I' throughout the poem so that you talk about yourself. Otherwise it looks like you presume to understand other people, which you clearly do not.
