Balloons You Swing - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Oh dear balloons you swing,
You swing in cheerful hope,
Coloured rubber bags you are,
You are inflated with air,
Necks are sealed for joy.

Children's lovely toys you are,
You fly, fly and fly high,
Seller is taking you to sale,
Riding his bicycle slowly,
You swing gently with blowing,
Evening wind has love for you.

Fair is not so far as we see,
You will arrive there soon,
Children will gather to buy,
You will go as their guests,
Now you swing beside visitors.
You swing in lap of thread,
Roaming in this highway,
City fair is welcoming you.

A child cannot turn face
Seeing your decorated faces,
You smile and people enjoy,
A child has deep emotion
To buy you and play with you,
Beside highway boundary,
He will turn towards you.
Each passerby praises.

Amazing that something so simple- - A rubber bag filled with air or helium- - Can bring such happiness to children & adults alike! (Report)Reply

You seem to have visited a festival recently and the umpteen sights there seem to have captured your imagination! Yes, balloons remain an ever sought after toy of children! They never get tired of them. Though a trifle full of air, they fill the children's heart with joy! (Report)Reply
