Barricaded Sight - Poem by Stephen Townsend

You go through me.
You don’t see me.
We are separated.
By the one way glass.
I see you but you don’t see me.
This barrier needs to be torn.
To the ground.
Never to rise.
I fight.
I punch.
And.
I scream.
You wont notice me.
The glass wont break.
I cant destroy.
This must be fate.
I wallow in the shadows.
Behind the barrier.
The barrier of loneliness.
And expressionism

This is my torment.
Never to challenge.
My states cursed.
The barrier to destroy.
Destroying me.
And.
My mind.
