This poem reminds me Emily Bronte poem “ Lines” in which she encourages the despised and mournful traveler and tells him the secret to cover the journey in these words:
    If you still despair control,
Hush its whispers in your breast,
You shall reach the final goal,
You shall win the land of rest.

The poem teaches the lesson of optimism, life is a journey and there are the hardships which call forth courage to confront them. It is a fact that we cover the journey step by step though it is a thousand mile long. Mission can’t be achieved in a short span of time; they claim a life long endeavor.

This blessing is nice and fresh. I continue to feel a positive American spirit in some of these poems, that America that I love, that America that Seema reminds me. (Report)Reply
