Beardless Blue Iris Poem by Marilyn Lott

Beardless Blue Iris

Rating: 5.0

Did you know that some Iris
Have beards fuzzy as you please?
Others are called beardless
All are loved by sweet little bees.

Anyhow, I was so excited to find
My blue Iris had opened for me
It happens every spring time
It is such a delight to see.

The first stanza presents a unique way of look at this Iris flower- with or without their beards. Loved it. Thanks.
