Beats - Poem by Evie smith

Hot and comfortable
you warm me

With my head on your chest
I hear how you work

The beats soothe my pain
And open my mind
Open it right up and expose me

I am yours and always will be
Every beat of your heart
Etched in my mind
Soothed my pain
Opened me up.
