Beginnings - Poem by marlene whittier
Sun shining in my room, a new day begins
Shadows fading on the wall, I smile
Reflections are looking at me with approval
The signs are positive for me
Looking into life depends on my magnification
I see warmth
Embracing the thought you'll be around
Fly over me once more
Tip your wings in recognition
The tree tops are dancing to your hum
I sing in rejoice
What a wonderful day in deed.
It is you.
