Beneath The Mango Tree - Poem by Vidura Prabhath

Beneath the mango
tree, I feel the aroma of
soothing wind.
Red and white roses
smile with me waving in
the wind.
Birds sing their melody
to help the wind.
Feeling enthralled by
now.

Nature provides, more than anything else, for poetry. If one is observant and imaginative enough, what one can pick up from it is enormous. I particularly like your simple diction in the poem very much. Enjoyable write. Thanks for sharing. (Report) Reply
