Beneath Your Feet - Poem by David Harris

Everyday we go outside,
to enjoy the world out there,
but we never think about,
the world beneath our feet.
It maybe tiny and microscopic,
with creatures that make some shiver.
This world is in a way
similar to the one we live in.
There are dramas there
as each creature struggles to survive.
So the next time you go
out into the garden,
stop for a moment and wonder,
at all the dramas being played out there.
The dramas of life and death,
that is just beneath your feet.

A beautiful write young man....Believe me some of us are reminded every day of the 'compost heap' beneath our feet....where once there was peace and feeling wanted is despair...Pain at seeing that all see the good beneath many others feet. not just one but many. The world is ours to make of it and our lives what we wish...sometimes thought, fate steps in, and we stumble with pain...At those times I guess your words in this poem are needed...Now, if only you could instill love in the hearts of so many that have frozen....god bless, marci. If you look inside my compost bin you'll see a whole mini-world in there. It fascinates the hell out of my grandchildren! Thanks for this one, David. Lovely to read you, as always.

    Love, Fran xxx
