Best Mistake I Ever Made - Poem by Aidan Cost

'Every Word you've ever said,
Flows endlessly through my head,
Like a hopelessly spreading, Haunted lake,
But my spirits weren't the only thing to break.'

'But honey you are my morning coffee, so please don’t grow cold. I appreciate you warm and near, I pray to cherish you when I’m old.'

'But Love you are my morning tea, I have what I need in front of me, I appreciate you safe in my grasp, you will be the one to set me free.'

'She had eyes like daggers and a tongue like razorblades,
Cutting me down through the emotional barricades,
I guess its true my blood was thicker than cherry-aide,
And she would be the best mistake i ever made.'

'he had eyes like flaring midnight lights,
Flushing me out from the holes i hid in most nights,
I guess its true my fears were harder than stains to fade,
And he would be the best mistake i ever made.'

'let me be the best mistake you ever made'
'let me be the best mistake you ever made'
