Bestfriends? - Poem by colleen martin

Best Friends
Are supposed to be there for you
There not supposed to be the one
Who called you all those names that
You dreaded ever being called
There not supposed to turn people against you
Or even tell people who you like
The ideal best friend gives you
A shoulder to cry on
An ear to talk to
A mouth to help trash talk someone
Hands to slap the person who made you cry
Eyes to give glares when someone’s on your last nerve
Feet to kick some guy that rejected you
So that would me my best friend would be a shoulder less,
Deaf, speechless, handless, footless, blind person?
