Between The Cracks Poem by b.. rich

between my fingers she slipped
between phone msg's and photos
and conversations everyday
lost between the words
and my shadowy soul
left to linger on the thoughts of loss
and what might have been
as always i seem to fall between the cracks
etched deeply into my soul and heart
leaving images which may never fade
inversed unto my hearts wall for printing
becoming part of my p a s t
filling the mosaic that will be there at my end
