Beyond The Touch Poem by charlotte marie peachey

Beyond The Touch

Rating: 4.8

the touch,
rough, forced, unwanted,
i was invaded, felt dirty.
wounded beyond mending,
so many emotions
embarrased, ashamed, angery
scared to think, to feel the pain.
even scared to live another minute
my memories,
seem to real, they never fade
not understanding
why it happened, but knowing it did
struggling through the tears
to smile
but some how i manage
just thankful i survived
a heartless act.
