Biography - Poem by Dennis Benitez
Born in a city named as a great shore
The product of a a young man's lust and an older woman's lie
Raised by a Mother who married a hollow step-father
Useless, Ugly, Stupid, A Mistake, he is told by actions
Abuse, Abuse, Abuse.... All he knew from Family
Love, Love, Love.... All he ever wanted, but never knew
Alone in his hell he could have always left....
He prays for his miracle, but does nothing to earn it....
He allowed them to be correct in their actions
Now he cries, and cries all he can, but no one cares
His smiles hide what was always there, the question;
Who Am I?
