Black Love From America - Poem by Evil Angel

put on the lifejacket and swim
many people have died in this sea of blood
tired of being weak tired of taking the beats
tired of being the tear falling down your cheak
some people search their whole lifes
trying to find what we have
tell me if thats not worth fighting for then what is
im so confused days turns to nights
as im trying to drink myself sober
outside the sky have been covered with clouds
the hard rain hits the pavement as we reach the dead end street
how did it get this far so little has changed i feel like a slave
our love will follow us to our grave

Very, very dark, you pour out pain and confusion and emptiness in well-crafted verse. (Report)Reply
