Blizzard Of 96' - Poem by Delia Lore

Mother nature at the helm,
Orchestrating snowflakes to overwhelm
Creating a majestic scene,
Filled with crystal ice glistening
She waves her wand from high above,
And transforms earth with a blanket of love
She fills the day with a mystic sight,
And prepares to illuminate the night
The children smile with awesome joy,
For they are presented with an unexpected toy
She proclaims this day a hearty storm,
With piercing winds everywhere to adorn
We know today to never guess,
The way that Mother nature tests
She stands in full control each day,
And will always have the final say
