    Fighting my tears,
    Trying to be brave,
I kneeled down to kiss him,
    But he still was dead.
Soon he will go in ground, managing grief....... grief that remains with us always..... this is an experience......which at last leads us to God............ nothing is in our hands. God should come into our lives and help us in grief, in affliction. a great poem. tony

Shadows never vanish but lost somewhere within the mind...hummers well, nails and hangs, laugh and cry...continue...up to unending end..when thread of breath broken dream broken transforms into the dream of another mind... (Report) Reply

A searing and moving poem. It costs a lot to write such a poem but it is a tribute to you and the passing of your nephew. (Report) Reply

A great piece of writing. The sadness combined with your eventual loneliness, Holding the body in your arms for the last time....oh my God. I feel it all through.
    Keep writing.

There are no words in any language that can console a grief stricken mother as you are. All I can pray is may God rest his soul in eternal peace and may He be with you in bearing this grief.
    How a child looks,
With his breath of life extinguished…………………
These words break our heart too, Lucifera!
